Hello, and welcome.

My name is Catherine Haworth and I am a consultant family law solicitor specialising in domestic abuse and sexual assault cases. I have experience in dealing with family court injunctions as well as private and public law children matters.

I am also a qualified IDVA and have a Safelives Qualification in Domestic Abuse.

I became a solicitor as I wanted to help people. I saw there was a huge issue in family court and the understanding of domestic abuse. Victims were coming out of the family court process feeling even more traumatised. Many did not have access to legal aid or the funds to support legal representation, so were forced to represent themselves.

This is what started Haworth Family Law. My aim is to help provide as many people as possible with access to justice and support and assistance through family court. I can offer pro bono advice, assess eligibility for legal aid or signpost you to a service who may be able to help if I cannot.
